Subject: Proposed Ordinance — Use & Regulations of Golf Carts within the Village of Swanton

Notice is hereby given that the Village Council of the Village of Swanton will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, November 10th at 7:00 PM at Council Chambers, 219 Chestnut St., Swanton, OH 43558 to receive public comment on a proposed ordinance establishing the use and operational regulations for golf carts within the Village, including registration/inspection requirements, permitted streets and routes, safety equipment standards, and enforcement provisions. Copies of the current and proposed recommendations are available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Village Administration Office, 219 Chestnut Street, Swanton, OH 43558 and below. All interested persons are invited to attend and be heard. Written comments will be accepted in advance and may be delivered to Shannon Shulters, Village Administrator, 219 Chestnut Street, Swanton, OH 43558 or emailed to admin@villageofswantonohio.us no later than 12:00 Noon on Monday, November 10th. Please reference “Golf Cart Regulations – Public Hearing” in the subject line.
