PUBLIC SAFETY
The Village of Swanton's Department of Public Safety encompasses both the Fire and Rescue Division and the Police Division, working in tandem to ensure the safety and well-being of the community. This integrated approach allows for a coordinated response to emergencies and proactive crime prevention.
The Fire and Rescue Division, established in 1895 and led by Fire Chief Cuyler Kepling, provides around-the-clock fire and rescue services to the Village and surrounding areas.
Simultaneously, the Police Division is committed to delivering high-quality law enforcement services, upholding community safety, and fostering strong partnerships with residents. Together, these divisions strive to enhance the quality of life in Swanton through vigilant protection, effective emergency response, and community engagement.
