Refuse & Recycling

The Village of Swanton does not directly handle refuse and recycling services. We have negotiated discounted rates with Klumm Brothers Waste Solutions. Each resident must set up their own account by calling Klumm Brothers Waste Solutions at 419.570.6622 and mention that they are a Village of Swanton resident.

Refuse

Picked up every Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday).
Recycling

Picked up bi-weekly. Refer to the schedule for details.

 

Place refuse and recycling at the curbside or alley no earlier than 8:00 p.m. the day before collection.

 

Residents with an active account are eligible for a quarterly bulk pick-up. Contact Klumm Brothers Waste Solutions for eligibility and restrictions.

Village Bulk Drop-Off Days

We offer a bulk drop-off day to Village Residents ONLY in the Spring and Fall time. This event typically occurs on a Saturday in May and September from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The specific day is announced through Social Media, posted at the Municipal Office, and the Village Voice Newsletter.
